Location:The project is located on the right bank of Neelum river, 103 km north east of Muzaffarabad in AJK. Dam site is located 2 km upstream of Dudhnial village and Powerhouse near Dowarian village, 63 km upstream of NJHPP Dam site.

Status

  • PC-II Proforma for pre-feasibility was submitted to MoWP on 29.09.2009 which after clarification was resubmitted on 20.10.2010.
  • NOC for conducting Feasibility Study received from Govt. of AJ&K on 12.10.2017.
  • PC-II amounting to Rs. 377.697 million, after clearance from Ministry of Water of Water Resources, has been submitted to Planning Commission on 15.04.2019. Approval is awaited.
