Financing Arrangements

• The finances for Feasibility Study, DED & Tender Documents amounting to the US $ 6.40 Million were taken from component B-4 of WCAP, whereas the finances of US $ 928 Million for Implementation/Construction.
• World Bank (IBRD US$ 400 Million & IDA US$ 440 Million) has financed 90% of the Implementation / Construction of the project; signed on 12.04.2012.
• Loan # 8144-PAK & Credit # 5079-PAK became effective on 27.04.2012.
• Revised World Bank Loan/Credit: March 2016 (US$ 692 Million: IDA US$ 292 Million + IBRD 400 Million)

Civil Works:

Intake:
Physical Progress for Civil Works achieved is 99.95% against 100%.
Powerhouse:
Physical Progress for E&M Works is 99.99% against 100%.
E&M Works:
• LLO wet testing will be carried out on the availability of the required reservoir level and approval from NPCC.
• TRs/Punch point rectification continued with slow progress, PCCCL being intimated from time to time for early rectification of same.
• Spare parts and As-Built documents submission continued.

ICB Contract-102 (Up-gradation of existing 500 kV Switchyard): 100% completed
