LOCATION 

Rasul Hydel Power  Station is located on Upper Jhelum Canal (UJC) near Rasul Village at distance of 150 Km South East from Islamabad in district Mandi Bahaudin Punjab.

Rasul Hydel Power Project was initiated by Public Works Department on Feb. 01, 1945.

The Government of the Punjab awarded the contract to Associated Electrical Industries (India). It is the First Hydel Power Project ofPakistan after independence.
