Status:

Consultancy Services for Construction Supervision

  • The consultancy contract was signed with M/s Mott MacDonald, UK, on 13.04.2019.
  • The consultants are mobilized at the site w.e.f. 15.04.2019.

Civil Works

  • Contract Agreement signed with M/s PCCCL on 06.05.2021.
  • Work is under progress on Penstock, Intake, and Power House.

E&M Works

  • Contract awarded to JV of M/s Harbin Electric Intl and M/s Harbin Electric Machinery on 26.05.2021. Contract Agreement signed on 25.06.2021.
  • The Contractor has started Design of different components of the plant as per Contractor provision, and has submitted design of various components of the plant for review of WAPDA.

Transmission Line

  • The contract is undertaken by National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDCL).
  • Contract agreement signed Contract with M/s NETRACON on 21.07.2022.

 

Closure of Tunnel 5 from IRSA.
• Since 08TH July 2021, a series of meetings with IRSA has been conducted for the closure of the T5 Tunnel.
• IAC meeting was planned for 24.08.2022, however, said the meeting was postponed due to an emergent flood situation in Sindh province. The next IAC meeting is yet to be scheduled.
• Physical Progress 5.00%
