Status:-

  • PC-II for Feasibility Study, Detailed Engineering Design, and Tender Documents was submitted to MoWR on 30.07.2009, which was not approved due to the non-allocation of project priority by GoB. PC-II for “Feasibility Study, Detailed Engineering Design, Preparation of Tender Documents &
  • PC-I” amounting to Rs. 313.077 Million submitted to MoWR on 21.06.2017.
  • MoWR forwarded the PC-II to Govt. of Balochistan on 19.04.2018 for endorsement. Govt. of Balochistan vide letter dated 19.09.2018 has approached MoWR for taking over the project from WAPDA for implementation by Govt. of Balochistan, the response from MoWR is awaited.
  • The Govt. of Pakistan has allocated Rs. 80.000 Million in PSDP 2019-20 against the PC-II prepared by GoB for Feasibility Study of the dam under the un-approved scheme.
  • A meeting under the chairmanship of Secretary MoWR was held on 24.07.2019 wherein it has been decided that Govt. of Balochistan shall carry out the project studies.
