Status:-

• Detailed Engineering Design & Preparation of Tender Document of the project was completed in 2013.
• Updated PC-I amounting to Rs. 17,251.50 Million has been prepared by incorporating Confidence Building Measures and Security Cost as per directives of Ministry.
• Project would be taken up after arrangement of financing from donor agencies/Gilgit Baltistan Govt. and PC-I will be submitted accordingly.
• “Public Hearing” for issuance of NOC by GB-EPA on EIA report was held on 25.07.2015 at Phandar project site. Issues raised in Public Hearing are related to GB Government. NOC for environmental study from GB-EPA is awaited.
• WAPDA will implement the project as a deposit work, whereas GB Govt. will be sponsoring agency.
