Status:-

• Appraisal Study Report was prepared by M/s BARQAAB in 2003.
• Feasibility Study of Chiniot Dam Project was carried out by WAPDA and completed in 2019.
• DDWP meeting held on 10.08.2020 wherein project was approved. Allocation & release of funds awaited.
• MoWR accorded administrative approval for the Detailed Engineering Design, Preparation of Bidding Documents & PC-I of Chiniot Dam Project on 04.08.2021.
• Case for “Opening of Assan Assignment Account (AAA)” of the subject project has been initiated.
• WAPDA Authority accorded approval for Award of Consultancy Services Agreement on 10.06.2022.
• Consultancy Services awarded on 10.06.2022 to JV comprising of M/s NESPAK (Lead Firm), M/s PES, M/s BARQAAB and M/s DOLSAR for the period of eighteen (18) months. Consultants mobilized on 20.06.2022.
