Floods Damages 2022
• Intense monsoon rains triggered a series of unprecedented flash flood events in Uchar Nullah w.e.f July 24, 2022 to August 29 2022 that also raised the water level in the Indus River.
• These floods caused damages to the Contractor's temporary facilities. Inlet dyke of Diversion Tunnels overtopped. Construction activities on Main Works are suspended. Dewatering of Tunnels is in progress.
