WAPDA offers Medical Services to all WAPDA / Client Companies employees and their Dependents across the country through a network of Hospitals, Fortified Dispensaries and Basic Dispensaries.WAPDA Medical Services is providing these facilities to its beneficiaries through 12 Regional Groups consisting of 12 Hospitals, 13 Fortified Dispensaries and 17 Basic Dispensaries spread all over the country. These units are functioning under the technical / financial control of Director General Medical Services for achieving the assigned outcomes.

WAPDA Hospitals Central Hospital at Lahore & 50 bed hospitals at Tarbela, Peshawar, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan & Guddu are fully functional and providing in-house services in all major clinical disciplines.

WAPDA Fortified Dispensaries The basic dispensary of Warsak has been upgraded to fortified level, fulfilling a long standing demand of the local people. The building repair and addition / alteration has been taken in hand to give a proper and cleaner look to the Fortified Dispensaries at Warsak, RBC Tarbela, Jhang and Jamshoro. The unit at Gujrat has already been shifted to a purpose built premises.

WAPDA Basic Dispensaries The basic dispensary of SPS Faisalabad was augmented by additional staff to provide evening cover and 24/7 emergency cover to the residents of this big residential colony. The Dispensaries at Shalamar, Sheikhupura, Okara, Sialkot, Islamabad have been shifted to better and more appropriate premises.

WAPDA Dental Units

In order to have a healthy population, it is imperative to improve the levels of oral hygiene of the community. Authority very graciously agreed to establish 5 new Dental Units at Shalamar, Sahiwal, Chashma, Jamshoro and Warsak. The dental surgeons have been posted and dental chair with accessories provided, except at Warsak for which the process are in hand.
