January 9, 2023:Chairman WAPDA Lt Gen Sajjad Ghani (Retd) was called on by Advisor, World Bank Masood Ahmad. The matters about 300-MW Floating Solar Project were discussed during the meeting. This is Pakistan’s maiden Floating Solar Project, which after due diligence is likely to be implemented by WAPDA at Tarbela Lake with financial assistance of the World Bank.
