52nd National Gymnastic Championship WAPDA, Army declared joint champions

August 30, 2021: Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) and Pakistan Army were declared joint champions as both teams secured same points in team event of the 52nd National Gymnastic Championship. The 2-day championship was concluded last evening at Gujranwala. Pakistan Army was defending the title in the championship.

August 16, 2021: With a view to encouraging WAPDA Athletes Arshad Nadeem and Talha Talib for their brilliant performance in Javelin Throw and Weightlifting respectively in Tokyo Olympics, a prize distribution ceremony was held at WAPDA House today under the aegis of WAPDA Sports Board (WSB). WAPDA Chairman and WSB Patron-in-Chief Lt Gen Muzammil Hussain (Retd) presented cash awards worth Rs. 2.5 million each to them.
