Lahore, 20 Feb 2017: WAPDA Women Judo Team won the 8th National Women Judo Championship 2017 held at Islamabad.

 Pakistan Judo Federation organized 8th National Women Judo Championship from 14th to 18th Feb 2017 at Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad.

Women Judo Teams of WAPDA Army Navy, FATA, HEC, Punjab, DHA and Sindh particiated in this Championship. WAPDA Women Judo Team won this Championship by bagging 5 x Gold and 2 x Silver medals. Army secured Runners up position with 3 x Gold, 1 x Silver and 3 x Bronze medals. Navy remained at 3rd position with 3 x Silver and 2 x Bronze medals.
