WAPDA Wrestlers shine in 63rd Senior Wrestling Championship 2017
Secures 1st position by winning 7 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals

Lahore- November 6, 2017: The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) wrestlers secured first position in 63rd Senior Wrestling Championship 2017 held at Faisalabad. WAPDA wrestlers showed exceptional performance by winning 7 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals with 97 points. Army secured 2nd position by winning 2 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals with 79 points while HEC remained 3rd with 75 points.

As many as 10 teams participated in the two-day event in 10 different categories namely Balochistan, Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, Punjab, Islamabad, Sindh, Army, Higher Education Commission (HEC), Police, Railways and WAPDA.
