DOUBLE CROWN FOR WAPDA IN NATIONAL WUSHO KUNG FU CHAMPIONSHIP

Pic 1Lahore - April 30, 2018: Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) outplayed its opponents by clinching double crown in National Wusho Kung Fu Championship. The event was concluded at Bahawalpur the other day.

 According to the details, WAPDA won the 21st Men’s National Wusho Kung Fu Championship 2018 with 11 gold and 4 silver medals. Army got 2nd position with 8 gold 3 silver and 3 bronze medals, followed by Higher Education Commission (HEC) with 1 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze medals for the 3rd slot in the Championship. As many as 11 teams participated in the 21st Men’s National Wusho Kung Fu Championship including WAPDA, Army, HEC, Sindh, Karachi Port Trust, Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Balochsitan, Railways, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K).

Likewise, WAPDA also won 11th Women’s Wusho Kung Fu Championship with 9 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals. This was WAPDA’s 11th consecutive win in the Championship. Army grabbed 2nd position by winning 5 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze medals while HEC managed 3rd position with 2 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze medals in the Women’s Championship.
