IPC Minister felicitates PBF ChairmanFebruary 4, 2021: Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) newly elected Chairman Lt Gen Muzammil Hussain (Retd) today called on Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) Federal Minister Dr. Fehmida Mirza to discuss with her the matters relating to promotion of boxing in the country.

IPC Federal Minister congratulated Lt Gen Muzammil Hussain (Retd) on becoming PBF Chairman. She expressed the hope that the Federation under his leadership will succeed in bringing laurels to Pakistan in international boxing events.

Later, PBF Chairman apprised the Federal Minister of the plans to hunt and groom the local talent for elevating standards of boxing in Pakistan. The strategy to exalt Pakistan’s standing in the world boxing arena was also discussed in details.

IPC Minister assured full support to PBF Chairman in his endeavours to uplift boxing in the country.

It is pertinent to mention that Lt Gen Muzammil Hussain (Retd) was elected PBF Chairman unopposed last month.
