Upper Jhelum Canal

The Power Channel is about 3 km in length, taking off from the right side of the Upper Jhelum Canal (UJC) and through a fall of 24 ft at Power Station.
There is a spillway to bypass the backflow in case of sudden load rejection of units or excess water in the Power Channel due to miss regulation or storm.
