Lahore – October 9, 2017: Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) President Lt Gen Arif Hassan (Retd) today called on WAPDA Chairman and WAPDA Sports Board Patron-in-Chief Lt Gen Muzammil Hussain (Retd) at WAPDA House. The matters relating to promotion of sports in the country were discussed during the meeting.

Lahore – October 6, 2017: A delegation of National Security Workshop, National Defence University (NDU), Islamabad today visited WAPDA House to have briefings on the water and power sectors of Pakistan. The delegation headed by NDU Chief Instructor Rear Admiral Zain Zulfiqar, comprised of Senators, Members of the National Assembly, Members of the Provincial Assemblies, Senior Bureaucrats, Technocrats, Ambassador, Senior Military Officers and Representatives of Civil Society.

Neelum Jhelum Project: Dry test of electro-mechanical equipments starts

September 29, 2017: The 969 MW-Neelum Jhelum Hydropower Project is fast heading towards completion, as dry testing of electro-mechanical equipments installed at the power house and the switch yard is in progress.

The matters relating to financial assistance for WAPDA projects in water and hydropower sectors were discussed during the meeting.
