National Flag Hoisting Ceremony at WAPDA House

Lahore – August 14, 2022: The flag hoisting ceremony was held today at WAPDA House Lahore to celebrate the Independence Day with national zeal. WAPDA Member Water Jawaid Akhtar Latif, the chief guest on the occasion, hoisted the National Flag followed by the National Anthem in consonance with the main flag hoisting ceremony at Islamabad.

واپڈا، دیامر بھاشا ڈیم پراجیکٹ کے زیر اہتمام ایک بار پھر انٹرن شپ اور فنی تربیتی کورسز کا آغاز کیا جارہا ہے۔ پروگرام کے تحت پہلے مرحلے میں پراجیکٹ ایریا کے 12 سول انجینیئرز،جیولوجسٹ اور سرویئرزکو کنسلٹنٹس اور کنٹریکٹرز کے ساتھ انٹرن شپ کا مواقع فراہم کیے جارہا ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ دیامر بھاشا ڈیم پراجیکٹ کے تحت مختلف اداروں کے ساتھ فنی تربیتی کورسز کا بھی آغاز کیا جارہا ہے۔

August 12, 2022: Newly appointed Chairman of the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Lt Gen Sajjad Ghani (Retd) assumed charge of the office today. He is the 23rd Chairman of WAPDA.
