WAPDA ORGANIZES SEMINAR ON EXPANDING TAX NET, FILING OF RETURN

Lahore - October 23, 2018: The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) today organized a seminar in collaboration with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) at WAPDA House for educating and facilitating the WAPDA employees to obtain National Tax Number (NTN), file the tax return and the benefits of being filer versus non-filer. The seminar was a part of FBR’s campaign to create awareness about the Tax paying.

October 21, 2018: Honorable Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Mian Saqib Nisar accompanied by other honorable Judges of the apex court, and a delegation comprising foreign and local water experts, who attended the International Symposium “ Creating Water-Secure Pakistan” visited Mangla Dam - the largest water reservoir in Pakistan.

WPR Dasu HPPLahore – October 19, 2018: The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) today signed a contract worth Rs.4.90 billion with M/s China Gansu International Corporation for Economic and Technical Cooperation (CGICOP) for construction of Project Colony and Infrastructure (PCI-01R) – one of the components of Dasu Hydropower Project.

October 18, 2018: Chairman Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) /Chairman Implementation Committee of Diamer Basha and Mohmand Dams (ICDBMD) Lt Gen Muzammil Hussain (Retd.)reviewed progress on the tasks assigned to the Sub-Committees on Land Acquisition & Resettlement for Diamer Basha and Mohmand Dams.The meetings were held at ICDBMD Secretariat, Islamabad.
